Daily Report for Thu, Sep 04, 2008

Markets Re-cap The Wednesday session had more volume and mixed prices again. The big news is that central banks in Europe and the UK this morning, and yesterday in Canada, decided to leave their benchmark lending rates unchanged. In NY, the DJIA (+15.96 +0.14% to 11532.88), S&P 500 (-2.60 -0.20% to 1274.98), and the NASDAQ Composite (-15.51 -0.66% to 2333.73) were mixed as traders were waiting for direction today from the ECB and BoE.
