UPDATE 1-Spain’s Solbes sees risk of recession

Spain faces the possibility of a recession but the government still hopes the economy will start to recover in the second half of 2009, Economy Minister Pedro Solbes said on Tuesday. “The risk, the possibility, of recession is there, and that’s a worry. What I have always said and I repeat it now is that at the moment we are not working with that hypothesis,” Solbes told Cadena Ser radio.
