Yahoo posts profit decline, to reduce headcount by 10% October 21st, 2008 SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Internet giant Yahoo Inc. said Tuesday its fiscal third-quarter profit fell lower, and that it will seek to control costs by cutting roughly 10% of its workforce.
