Yahoo says Yang will step down as CEO November 17th, 2008 SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Yahoo Inc. said late Monday that embattled Chief Executive Jerry Yang will step down, and the company’s board of directors is seeking a replacement. Yang will remain as a Yahoo board member and will resume his role as chief Yahoo, the Internet company said.
